Dragons Travel Baseball

Spring Season Travel Team Information:

• 11-14U Travel teams, known as Durango Dragons, will hold open tryouts, typically in the fall.
• Practice times and days will be set by the team coach and the start date can be as early as January. Practices can be held any day.
• Extensive travel and extra family/financial commitment is required. Games and tournament play can take place throughout the state and region, including events in Grand Junction, Colorado Springs, Albuquerque, Farmington and Phoenix.
• Travel players will play on their age group/grade level team unless no team is offered at their age group/grade level.
• The 10U Division will form an advanced team comprised of players from Durango and any Four Corners community. The team will be selected after open practices held in May, 2025. All players will participate on their community league teams, there will be no conflict between the teams. The 10U division will use a player development model that focuses on fun, consistent practices and limits competition (potential for 2 summer events after the DBS League season) in order to limit the financial burden on families and prevent unnecessary travel.
